Ever since the launching of microsoft windows 7 using a driver scanner to always keep your drivers up-to-date, is actually ordinary course of action. Although ibm usb mouse drivers can be critical for the computers healthy functioning, it's in no way the only driver your system is dependent on.
Searching the web suggests that MO27FO is the version with a wheel, not a scrollpoint. But at least it seems to be the 'Pro' shape. By the way I didn't have much luck with the Mouse Suite software for the scrollpoint mice I have. Without it the scrollpoint works well for vertical scrolling.

But after installing the software, I can't scroll at all in Firefox. In IE vertical scrolling is smooth but horizontal scrolling is jerky / works like it is on a time delay.
In Chrome it works properly! Since FF is my preference I uninstalled the driver.
I bought one of these mice today and found my way here.but how I finally got mine to work was.first this then I changed to a different USB port.removed the device in device manager and restarted the machine.then do the instructions what came with the mouse.make sure you hit both buttons, on the mouse and USB adapter and let them find each other.restart again and now it works like a charm.oh yeah.the battery compartment is a pretty cheap setup so make sure the springs dont bend as you insert the batteries Good Luck [email protected] Posted on Apr 19, 2008.
